Baslat-A1900 is a broad spectrum antiscalant designed to inhibit organic scale formation in membrane separation processes.
Baslat-A1900 inhibits calcium sulfate scale at saturation levels of up to 600% and maintains good scale inhibition in the presence of moderate levels of iron.
Baslat-A1900 stops crystal growth of calcium sulfate scale. CaS04●2(H20)scale is almost impossible to remove once it has formed on an R.O. membrane.
Baslat-A1900 effectively stabilizes metal ions and disperses meal oxides in the concentrate stream.
Baslat-A1900 often surpasses the performance of other antiscalants under stressed conditions of high pH because of its better tolerance for hardness.
Baslat-A1900 is environmentally compatible,especially where discharge of waste into the environment is a concern.

CHEMICAL FEEDING AND CONTROL
Baslat-A1900 is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter . It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line . The amount of Baslat-A1900 required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and size of the membrane system . The specific dosage rates will be specific by your Baslat technical representative.

Baslat-A1900 is packaged in 25 KG non-returnable plastic drums.
