Baslat-A2200 is designed to inhibit inorganic scale formation in membrane separation processes.
Baslat-A2200 stops crystal growth of Calcium Sulfate scale. CaS04●2(H20) scale is extremely difficult to remove once it has formed on an R.O membrane.
Baslat-A2200 controls Calcium Carbonate scale formation without acid up to an LSI of 2.6.
Baslat-A2200 often surpasses the performance of other antiscalants under stressed conditions of high pH because of its better tolerance for hardness.
Baslat-A2200 effectively stabilizes metal ions to prevent fouling of the membrane.
Baslat-A2200 is environmentally compatible, especially where discharge of waste into the environment is a concern.

CHEMICAL FEEDING AND CONTROL
Baslat-A2200 is normally fed continuously prior to the final cartridge filter . It should be injected by chemical dosing pump from a dilution tank or directly from the drum to the feed water line . The amount of Baslat-A2200 required to inhibit scale formation depends on the quality of feed water and size of the membrane system .The specific dosage rates will be specified by your Baslat technical representative.
